2. Information We Collect

From site visitors:

• Search queries entered into the directory search
• Pages visited and time spent on the site (via standard server logs)
• Device type, browser, and general location (country/region) via analytics

From photographers applying to be listed:

• Studio name, address, phone number, and website
• Photographer name and email address
• Profile photos and portfolio images you upload
• Written responses to our Q&A questions and about sections
• Billing information (processed securely by our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers)
• Google review page links and social media handles you choose to provide

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Display your studio profile on The Boudoir Directory
• Process your application and membership subscription
• Communicate with you about your listing, account, or support requests
• Improve the Site and understand how it is used
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes beyond displaying your own listing.

4. Information Displayed Publicly

If your application is approved, the following information will be displayed publicly on your studio profile page:

• Studio name, city, state, and country
• Street address (if provided)
• Phone number
• Website URL
• Photographer first and last name
• Profile photos and portfolio images
• Studio description and Q&A responses
• Studio features, pricing level, and style tags

By submitting your application, you consent to this information being displayed publicly on the Site for as long as your listing is active.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use standard web technologies including cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Site. These may include:

• Essential cookies — required for the Site to function (e.g. session management)
• Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site (e.g. Cloudflare Web Analytics)

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the Site may not function properly as a result.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, including Cloudflare R2 object storage and Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare maintains industry-standard security practices. We take reasonable measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your submitted information for as long as your listing is active. If your listing is removed or your account is closed, we may retain records as required for legal or business purposes.

7. Third-Party Services

The Site uses the following third-party services that may collect limited data:

• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and security (see Cloudflare Privacy Policy)
• Google Fonts — font delivery (see Google Privacy Policy)
• Payment processor — billing for photographer memberships (we do not store payment card information)

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Boudoir Directory is not directed at or intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:
